Our commitment
We are committed to digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and we apply relevant accessibility standards so visitors can engage with our book, speaking information, resources, and podcast content.
Standards we aim to meet
We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, and more usable for everyone.
Measures we take

• Build on Wix with accessible structures: proper headings, lists, landmarks, labels

• Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and icons

• Maintain color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG 2.2 AA

• Ensure full keyboard access for navigation, menus, forms, and media controls

• Use clear focus states and skip-to-content links

• Provide captions for videos, transcripts for podcast episodes, and alt text for images

• Limit motion, provide a reduced-motion experience where possible

• Tag PDFs for reading order and selectable text, or provide accessible HTML equivalents

Compatibility
This site works with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. The site is tested with screen readers and assistive tech like VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS.
Technical specifications
Accessibility relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

• Ongoing self-evaluation against WCAG 2.2 AA

• Automated scans using industry tools, followed by manual fixes

• Periodic third-party reviews and user feedback rounds

Known limitations
We are working to resolve the following items. If you encounter a barrier, contact us and we will provide the content in an accessible format within two business days.

• Legacy PDFs may not be fully tagged

• Older podcast episodes may be missing transcripts

• Third-party embeds, for example podcast players or video platforms, may set their own accessibility and cookie policies

• User-generated content or external links may not fully meet our standards

Feedback and formal complaints
Your experience matters. Send accessibility feedback or complaints to info@delesejean.com. If you are unsatisfied with our response, ask for the Accessibility Coordinator so your request is escalated.
Third-party platforms
Our content may link to or embed services such as Amazon, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, or Spotify. These services have their own accessibility statements and controls. If a third-party feature creates a barrier, tell us and we will offer an alternative way to access the content.
Continuous improvement
We review this statement at least once per year, and we update our practices as standards and tools evolve.
